VIDEO: Cybersecurity Act of 2012

Senators continue to debate and vote on amendments to S. 3414, the Cybersecurity Act of 2012. ITI’s Robert Hoffman walks you through the key principles that the tech sector has for cybersecurity, and the areas where the legislation could be more effective. Hoffman stresses that any legislation needs to create a security structure that will be fast, flexible, and forward thinking to keep up with the rapid pace of innovation.
