WASHINGTON – The Information Technology Alliance for Public Sector (ITAPS), a division of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), released the following statement today from Trey Hodgkins, Senior Vice President for Public Sector, reacting to the announcement that Dan Tangherlini will leave his post as Administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA) on February 13:

“Under Dan Tangherlini GSA set a new standard on openness and transparency in government contracting with the OASIS contracting vehicle.  When a new administrator takes the helm at the GSA, OASIS can even serve as a model on the benefits of engaging with the contracting community to improve how GSA does business with companies.  They will also need to continue to restore morale at the agency so they can best deliver building and acquisition services for the government and the taxpayers.”
